Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a unique and rarer quality Shure Brothers dynamic cardioid microphone from the 1980's that has been cleaned and tested. This is an American made PE15H model that was factory set at high impedance.

I t comes with a newer Shure mic clip, original Belden mic cable, vinyl Shure carrying case. This mic looks very similar in shape and size to the far more common SM-58.

It has the built in on / off switch and grey / green painted finish. This mic has more of a mid range tone because of it's High Z setting as where the SM-58 was very heavy on the bass. A high quality Shure product. The High Z setting would have made this mic ideal for general broadcasting, brass instruments and a good harp mic.

Excellent uni-directional characteristics as well. If you have a deep voice like mine then this would sound pretty good for vocals. The mic has 100% output with zero issues. The on / off switch works perfectly and the XLR pins were cleaned for a perfect connection once the cable is attached. As you can see there are very lite signs of wear on the original painted handle.

Some small paint loss up by where the globe screws onto the mic handle. The front grill looks really nice with zero dents, tarnish or odors. The Shure label looks very good and completely legible. The original foam insert was not replaced as it is in very nice shape indicating this mic was well taken care of and stored in a good environment.

I usually replace these as the older ones are in rough and degraded condition. It helps greatly with acoustics and prevents the dreaded "pops" from breathing or windy conditions. There is also a brand new exterior black foam pop filter for maximum performance. You don't need to use it but you'll probably want too when you notice the difference in sound. Microphone is a very conservative 8 on a scale of 1 - 10 physically speaking.

The real beauty of this mic is the sound it produces. Hook this one up and you are ready for any live event.

MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IS FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY... NOT PART OF THIS SALE.

The clip is a newer Shure model and works great. No cosmetic wear and grips the mic nicely. It will screw on to any American desk or floor stand.

The black Shure vinyl mic case is included and in excellent condition. Zipper works great and will protect your mic while not in actual use.

Comes with an original standard Belden XLR cable to operate the mic. Cable is a long 20 feet and free of damage.

Soft, pliable and has the Switchcraft male 1/4 inch end connector. I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. Simply return in the same nice condition... INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are welcome as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask and..
