Up for sale is an ultra rare vintage Shure Brothers Model 549 Unidyne IV dynamic microphone, made in the USA from the 1960s. The Unidyne IV 548 and 549 mics were an improvement on the wildly popular SM57 and SM56 Unidyne III mics, with a smoother mid-range and bottom end. This is even rarer and more expensive than the 548 because it is shock mounted and features an external impedance/off switch. It sounds excellent, and is really good condition especially considering it's age.
