Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a nice Shure Brothers "Sphere - O - Dyne" 533 SA model dynamic microphone with high impedance setting. This mic was a radical new look for Shure in the early 1960's and a design that closely resembles most modern microphones of today with it's practical design and stick shape. The mic was made for about 20 + years and was an affordable "general purpose microphone" that is quite rugged in design.

They hold up very well over the decades and this one still sounds like brand new. This particular mic just happens to make a fantastic harp mic due to it's distinct sound and ease in which to cup in the hands. The mic comes with the cable, mic clip and mic case shown. Pic # 2 shows this very model and it's characteristics in an older Shure catalog I have. T he omni-directional pattern of this mic and underside of the ball allows the harp player to get a great airtight cup. The 533SA has fantastic harp tone. The frequency range on this mic goes up to 11 KH which is much higher than a CR or CM element meaning the highs in the range of frequencies are not cut off. This gives it more clarity of tone, while still delivering blistering overdrive. The satin chrome body on this mic is quite nice as seen in the pictures provided with a minimum of wear. The chrome mesh screen is free of any dents and a new foam liner has been installed to cut down on wind or breathing noise. The on / off switch works perfectly. The plastic mic clip is not original to the mic but it fits perfectly allowing a firm grasp and will provide a wide degree of tilt up and down. The clip is in excellent shape and will screw onto any desk or floor stand you have. The cable is soft, pliable and in excellent condition. 14 feet in length and it has the standard male 1/4 inch end connector for use with most audio equipment and all guitar amplifiers. The black vinyl Shure mic pouch is a great place to store and transport the mic when not in use. The pouch shows very lite wear but the zipper works great. MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE... As with all my vintage microphones.. I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. Simply return in the same nice condition...

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are welcome as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask and..
