Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use.

This microphone is in good working order and all 3 impedance settings work. This would have been one of the last productions of the 55s in Chicago as the company moved to Evanston , IL. Sometime that same year of 1956.

The cosmetic condition is well above average with the dark silk screen panels showing no rips and the chrome body little sign of wear. The Shure logo and badge are both in very good condition and all threading is in good working order. The adjustment joint is nice and tight for setting the desired angle.
