Two vintage 1990's Shure 545L dynamic cardioid microphones Low Z w extras SM57 2

  

Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. If you're a singer or drummer looking for something special with excellent sound quality and an old school style and flair then you might want to consider these classic Shure 545L model microphones. The 545L "Lavalier" model could be used for a variety if purposes but this one is intended to be mounted on the Shure clip provided. It can be handheld as well if needed. It comes with the Shure mic clips, short cables shown and the vintage metal Victor-Smith case in which to store and transport.

Pic # 2 is from an old 1970's era catalog showing this very model and it's basic characteristics. The mics could either be screwed onto a flexible gooseneck or could slide onto a standard Shure A25 model mic clip giving you a couple different options. These come with the practical Shure A-25 model mic clips. This is basically an SM-57 with the chrome finish and attached short cable. The sound on these mics are quite superb and especially good for use with drums.

The Shure Brothers 545 model dynamic cardioid microphone has uber strong output and warm tone. This mic has excellent uni-directional characteristics.

The signal strength on this old mic is 100%. Like new and absolutely no issues. The 545 had distinctive looks and was a radical new design for Shure Brothers when it was first introduced to the world in 1960 with it's aggressive, simplistic and modern layout. It's been said by many musicians that the sound quality of this particular microphone is the best bang for the buck. Perfect for vocals, broadcasting and especially drums.

These two examples have almost no cosmetic wear. The satin chrome is free of scratches, scuff marks or pitting. The mics look virtually new and they rarely come this nice.

Please let the detailed pics be your guide. The front screens show no dents, odors or tarnish. The foam inner pop filters are original and in excellent shape.

This greatly helps reduce the unwanted "pops" you get from breathing or singing to close to the mic. The attached 5 foot cables are soft, pliable and free of damage.

They comes with the quality Switchcraft male XLR end connectors for use with most modern and vintage audio equipment and y ou can simply attach any longer XLR cable of choice for extra reach if needed. The mics are an easy 9 + on a scale of 1 - 10. Again, t he Shure A-25 model mic clips are also included and a perfect fit for the mics grasping them nicely and giving it a wide degree of tilt up and down. They shows no wear and work excellent. The vintage Smith-Victor all metal case is included and in excellent shape.

This metal case has a practical carrying handle and locking lid mechanism. It has the original blue white paint scheme that shows very lite physical wear and it's free of any dents or corrosion. Two new foam pads were installed to keeps the dust, dirt and scratches away. The case is appx 15 inches long X 7 inches deep X 2 inches tall.

You'll appreciate this combo deal. Again, both mics are included.

These mics will do you justice and should last 100 years if taken care of properly. They just built these mics so nicely and can take a ton of abuse.
