Hi there--I have a Shure SM57 UNIDYNE III MICROPHONE Made In USA. I did plug it in to my daughters karaoke machine and it seemed to work fine.
My singing came out clear and crisp. That's about all the testing I knew to do with it. These were all my father in laws. He was a square dance caller for many years.
