Shure 565 SD Microphone - Vintage 1970's Original 565 SD XLR version. This one is in mint like new condition. Includes Original Swivel Adapter Model A258.

The 565 Unisphere Vocal Microphone is a dual-impedance, unidirectional dynamic microphone famous for its spot on the Woodstock stage. The 1969 standard version of the Model 565 employed a four pin Amphenol output connector and did not have an on/off switch. In 1973, Shure introduced the model 565D; it had an XLR male output and no on/off switch.

It was the equivalent of the mic used at Woodstock. Silent magnetic reed on/off switch with lock-on option. Output Impedance: 150 ohms (250 ohms actual), optional high impedance setting.
