3 Vintage 1990's Shure 545L dynamic cardioid microphones w extras SM57 545 # 2

  

Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. If you're a singer or drummer looking for something special with excellent sound quality and an old school style and flair then you might want to consider these classic Shure microphones.

It's the 545L "Lavalier" model that could be used for a variety if purposes but this one is intended to be mounted on the Shure clip provided but can be handheld if needed. There are 3 of these included in this sale and they all come with the original period Shure mic clips, cables and vintage carrying case shown in which to store and transport. These 545 model mics happen to make excellent snare mics. Pic # 2 is from an old 1970's era catalog showing this very model and it's basic characteristics.

This mic could either be screwed onto a flexible gooseneck or could slide onto a standard Shure A25 model mic clip giving you a couple different options. This is basically an SM-57 with the chrome finish and attached short cable. The sound on these mics are quite superb with a warm, smooth tone and juts the right amount of bass. The Shure Brothers 545 model dynamic cardioid microphone has excellent uni-directional characteristics. The signal strength on this old mic is 100%.

Like new and absolutely no issues. The 545 had distinctive looks and was a radical new design for Shure Brothers when it was first introduced to the world in 1960 with it's aggressive, simplistic and modern layout. It's been said by many musicians that the sound quality of this particular microphone is the best bang for the buck.

These 3 examples have extremely lite cosmetic wear. The satin chrome finish is free of any corrosion. One of the mics has a scuff marks on the Shure label but otherwise these mics are in superb physical condition.

The mics Shure labels are completely legible. Please let the detailed pics be your guide. The front screen shows no dents, odors or tarnish and t he original foam inner pop filters are in excellent shape. This greatly helps reduce the unwanted "pops" you get from breathing or singing to close to the mic. The short 5 inch attached cables are soft, pliable and in excellent condition. They all comes with a quality Switchcraft male XLR end connectors.

Simply attach any longer XLR cable for extra length as needed to your audio equipment. Mics would be rated from 9 + to 10 on a scale of 1 - 10. The period Shure A-25 model mic clips are also included and a perfect fit for these mics grasping them firmly and giving it a wide degree of tilt up and down. They show no wear and work excellent.

Will screw onto any desk or floor stand you have as well. The Vintage period case is also part of this package deal. A larger durable aluminum case with new foam inner padding. A Great place to keep the mic while not in actual mic as it keeps dust, dirt and scratches away. This case shows extremely lite wear and has a beautiful chocolate brown vinyl exterior with a practical handle for carrying it around. The case is appx 14 inches across X 9 inches deep X 3 inches tall. It has two locking mechanisms to keep the lid securely closed. Case is an easy 8 + on a scale of 1 - 10.
